Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme 2021
According to Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy will implement various welfare Schemes to develop women belonging to minority communities. Under this scheme, women in Andhra Pradesh make a living from sheep and goats. The government will spend about Rs 188,683 million on the project. The YSR government provides about 2.49 lakh sheep and goats to the total population. Each sheep and goat unit contains 14 sheep or goats. It will be a very ambitious project for women who fall into the backward category (BC).

Benefits of YSR Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme
Under this scheme, sheep and goat units will be provided to women belonging to backward classes (including minority groups). This will be an important step taken by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh as it will help all women to live an independent life. In addition, in 2021, the Jagannanna Jeeva Kranti Yojana in Andhra Pradesh will be distributed for a payment of Rs 75,000. This helps with transportation and insurance costs. There is also news that 4.69 billion cows and buffaloes will be distributed, and the funds used to strengthen the dairy industry will be 3.5 billion rupees.

Objectives of Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme
The main purpose of launching the Jagannanna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme is to establish partnerships and bring more business opportunities to people who want independence. The scheme offers many different opportunities for all women in the backward class (BC community). This will definitely lead to more job opportunities. 3.1 million housing plots have also been allotted to women and registered under this name. Women can purchase local sheep and goats from their area and use the services of a committee set up by two veterinarians. This scheme will empower the women belonging to BC communities.
The eligibility criteria that is defined by the concerned government offices for this scheme is given below:
- The applicant must be female only.
- Applicants should be over 45 years of age and less than 60 years of age.
- Also, the applicant belongs to one of the following categories:
- Backward Classes (BC)
- Scheduled Castes (SC)
- Scheduled Tribes (ST)
- Minority communities

The concerned authorities of the YSR Government of Andhra Pradesh will provide the following species of sheep under this scheme:
- Nellore Brown
- Macharla Brown
- Vizianagaram breeds
- Black Bengal in goats
- Native breeds
Implementation Process of Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme
This scheme will be implemented in three phases in Andhra Pradesh state:
- In 1st Phase, 20,000 units will be allocated till March 2021
- The second phase will complete the allocation of 130,000 units in the second batch of products from April 2021 to August 2021.
- And the third and final delivery will begin in September, with 99,000 units delivered, and end in December 2021.
