YSR Housing Distribution 2021-2022
Previously the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government has decided to distribute the free homes on Ugadi. But due to the coronavirus pandemic situation and the nationwide lockdown, the government has decided the date 8th July 2020 for the distribution of free homes.
CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has done a meeting on YSR Housing Scheme with the officials on 2nd June 2020, the chief minister stated that the houses are available in the stock and it will be distributed on 8th June 2020. the officials were also instructed by the chief minister to clear all the pending dues. The total due amount for about 3,38,144 houses is Rs.1,323 crores. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials, who were present there to allocate a day for payments to certify there should be no pay gap. Around 1500000 new houses will be made at the location of Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, and Nellore districts for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. As per sources, these houses will have a bedroom, living room, toilet, kitchen, and veranda without negotiating the quality of the building material.
Budget Sanction for Jagan Housing Scheme
Mr. B Rajendra Nath Reddy the Finance Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh has formally introduced the budget of the state for the financial year 2020-2021 on Tuesday 16th June 2020. According to this state budget, allocation of the fund for the 21 welfare schemes run on the name of Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were the major highlights.
These 21 welfare schemes are to provide financial help to the needy people of Andhra Pradesh. YSR government has given priority to the welfare schemes in spite of the crises due to the coronavirus pandemic and poor financial conditions. This year a total of Rs 3,691.79 crore has been sanctioned by the YSR government for the housing sector in Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme
The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme on 25 December 2020. With the help of the YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme, houses will be allocated to the recipients. These houses will be provided to the recipients are totally free of cost. Around 30.6 lakh, recipients have been identified across the Andhra Pradesh state Under this scheme.
The documents for free housing sites will be distributed to the recipients for the litigation free area. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has also instructed the district collectors to complete the preliminary work and allocate the housing sites. On some housing sites, there are stay orders issued by the High court of Andhra Pradesh state. The chief minister has also given instructions to the officials to take steps to evacuate the stay order.
Flat Distribution under Pedalandariki Illu Housing
In the YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme, There will be a total of two phases. Under the first phase of the Scheme, the construction work will begin from 25th December 2020 and is expected to remain till June 2022. Under the second phase of the YSR Pedalandariki, Illu Housing Scheme construction work will be conceded out till June 2023. In the first phase of the YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme’s around 15.1 lac houses will be built and in the second phase, around 13 lakh houses will be built. Expenses on the construction of a single house will be around Rs 1.80 lakh and these houses will be given to the recipients for free of cost. With the implementation of this scheme, the economy of the state will be boosted and it will also create employment opportunities for the citizens.
AP YSR EWS Housing Scheme 2021
YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state has launched YSR Housing Scheme 2021, on 12th July 2019 as per his promise made during the election campaign. The main objective of this scheme is to provide houses to the poor people of the state who are so poor that they can’t even not able to afford to build their own house. This scheme is one of the major 9 promises made during the election campaign by Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy. The scheme is named after Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s father name YS Rajshekhara Reddy. Previously This scheme was known as the NTR housing scheme. The scheme was announced during the first State Budget by B Rajendra Nath Reddy the Finance Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh. This housing scheme is particularly for EWS/ MIG/ LIG category peoples of the Andhra Pradesh state. Under this scheme the AP state government is going to adjust the PMAY- YSR (Gramin) scheme, PMAY- YSR (Urban) scheme, and YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing Scheme.
YSR Economically Weaker Sections Housing Scheme
Andhra Pradesh YSR EWS Housing scheme is a very initiative for Economic weaker section category Citizen of AP State by the YSR government. Andhra Pradesh Government is also going to provide pucca house to all the recipients. A total of Rs.1280 crore is allocated for this scheme under the state Budget of Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Urban Housing Scheme (PMAY)
PMAY – YSR urban housing can be described as a joint ingenuity of state government and central government to provide Pucca house to every needy person of the Andhra Pradesh state who belong to the poor, lower-income groups, and middle-income section. The main aim of the PMAY – YSR urban housing scheme is to develop the urban areas of Andhra Pradesh before 2022. Rs 5000 crore by the central government and 1000/- crore by the State government have been sanctioned For successful operation of PMAY – YSR urban housing scheme.
PMAY- YSR Gramin Housing Scheme
to develop the rural area of the state PMAY-YSR Gramin Housing scheme has been launched. Under this scheme, the state government and central government will act together for the development of the rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.

YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme 2021
A new housing scheme named as YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme will be launched by Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on July 8th, 2020. Under YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme, beneficiaries will be provided with the land along with the documents for the construction of the house by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The government will also give instructions to Banks to provide financial support to the recipients. Approximately 60000 recipients are identified for this scheme, by the authorities along with this around 10000 applications are under consideration.

Kadapa district administration has taken this scheme into effect at Pulivendula town in about 255 acres area. 1 to1.5 cent of land is going to assign to the recipients with all the documents, by the government of the Andhra Pradesh state. A total of 754 layouts with 95,549 plots have been had formed by the authorities In the district, it is for the allocation. In every layout, 10% of the land has been reserved for community purposes like playgrounds and parks.
